Comic Guests is a publication that aims to “communicate dreams and love of the youth” by focusing on stories, giving priority to humors, promoting public awareness and demonstrating the essence of life. It consists of RAY, FANTASY, MOE, and YOUNG, which are weekly magazines named after the four categories of animation features. As a cultural symbol that combines similarities with differences, it is committed to the development of “new Chinese comic publications” by integrating Chinese traditional culture and improving Chinese-style animation culture. By adhering to the benignity orientation, it uses original Chinese-style comics, positive contents theming the passion of the youth, and fashionable and beautiful drawings to demonstrate the life, dream and happiness of the youth and communicate positive attitude, optimism, proactiveness and the desire for success, so as to facilitate the growth of readers with contents delivering correct values and ethics.
It has published hundreds of distinctive works including the teenager-oriented inspirational and hot-blooded comics such as the Battle Through the Heavens, Overlord, and Dragon Raja, ancient-style comics combining historical events and fantasies such as Ya She (The Shop of Wordless Antiques), Oracle Anecdotes, and Seasons in the Clouds, music-themed and teenager-oriented inspirational comics such as You and Me, and High Pitch, campus-themed comics featuring self-transcendence and the fulfillment of dreams including Awesome Dream Club and Crazy Neighbours, daily life-themed comics featuring loveliness and humor such as Sweet House, Teacher, the Wolf is Coming, GO! GO! Art Student, as well as fantasy and adventure-themed comics such as The Theatre of Demiurge and Whited Nighttime.
Comic Guests will discover and train innovative authors, help them grow into the backbone forces of Chinese comics, be committed to the development of a complete supply chain integrating animation, books, film and television, games, peripherals, and new media, and make attempts to explore international copyright cooperation.
